At twelve midnight, champagne cork pops and the fireworks are about to explode in the sky over Tivoli.
The poster was made in 1990 by the Danish artist Lars Ravn (1959).
The poster displays a multi-colored scenery showing the most import figures and symbols of the Tivoli Gardens. Among them is the famous pantomime roles of Harlequin & Columbine and Pierrot - all strong characters associated with the magical Tivoli Gardens. An interesting detail is that the artist also made room for a sailor.
Tivoli is one of the world most famous amusement parks. The park is the second oldest amusement park in the world and is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and is by far the most visited spot in Scandinavia.
