This poster was made to promote an exhibition with artworks by Aage Sikker Hansen on Sophienholm Museum in Denmark.
The poster was made by the legendary Danish poster artist Aage Sikker Hansen (1897-1955) who also created some of the most iconic posters in Danish poster history. His posters where often portraits or people often using only pencil and charcoal which makes his images quite detail rich with many textures and shades. This poster was one of his last and most celebrated works.
