Every year Tivoli (the world most famous amusement park in Copenhagen, Denmark), lets a new Danish artist design the poster art for the coming season.
The poster displays a multi-colored scenery showing the most import figures and building of Tivoli. Among them is the famous pantomime roles of Harlequin & Columbine and Pierrot - all strong characters associated with the magical Tivoli Gardens. An interesting detail is that the artist also made room for ordinary visitors of the gardes.
The artwork of the poster was created by Ulla Kampmann (1934) who also a Danish cartoonist in several newspapers in Denmark. On a mission to Rome in 1963 and after three months in the country, she was so taken by Italy's art and culture, she gave up her job in Denmark and moved to Nemi. And she still lives there where she among other things has been associated with shooting the movies and in the work of UNESCO.
