Gorgeous exhibition poster with fine art by Édouard Manet.

The poster was made to promote a Manet exhibition in Ordrupgaard Museum (Denmark) in 1989. The image on the poster is called "Roses in a glass vase" and was painted in 1883.

Édouard Manet (1832-1883) was a pioneering French painter whose work bridged the transition from Realism to Impressionism. Known for his bold use of color and modern subjects, Manet's art often depicted everyday scenes and contemporary life, challenging traditional techniques and themes. His notable works include "Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe" and "Olympia," both of which sparked controversy and marked a departure from classical norms. Manet's innovative approach laid the groundwork for the Impressionist movement, influencing a generation of artists and reshaping the trajectory of modern art.
