Interesting exhibition poster with an illustration from the book called "The Tame Elephant Speaks with the Wild One"

The book is called Sulwan al-Muta and was written by the Arab author Ibn Zafar al-Siqilli in the 12th century. In this allegorical dialogue, a tame elephant speaks with a wild elephant, discussing themes of freedom, domestication, and human control. The tame elephant represents civilized life under human control, while the wild elephant symbolizes natural freedom and independence. The conversation explores themes such as the cost of freedom and the choices one makes between security and liberty.

Louisiana (Danish Museum of Modern Art) is located in Humlebæk north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The museum was opened its doors in 1958 and with its approximately 600,000 annual visitors, is one of Denmark's most visited museums and among the ten most visited tourist attractions. Louisiana is a collection of contemporary art, but also an interaction between art, architecture and landscape.

Louisiana got his name from court master Alexander Brun, who built a villa on the site in 1855. The villa's name is probably inspired by the three women he married - all three were named Louise. The founder of Louisiana chose to keep the name from the country house he subsequently transformed into a museum. The villa is now a part of the museum.
