A very surreal exhibition poster with works by Dali .
The poster was made to promote an exhibition called "Time - the 4th Dimension on Louisiana (Danish Museum of Modern Art).
The picture on the poster is called The Triangular Hour (1933). In this surreal landscape, Dalí presents a rock formation with a malformed "soft" watch—distinctively stone-like and cracked—resting upon it, blending time with the solidity of nature. A hole in the rock reveals an Ampurdan plain featuring a small figure of a child with a hoop, while above perches a classical bust, evoking both timelessness and human expression.
Although less famous than his melting clocks in The Persistence of Memory (1931), this work continues Dalí’s exploration of time’s fluidity, juxtaposed with enduring, natural structures
Louisiana is located in Humlebæk north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The museum was opened its doors in 1958 and with its approximately 600,000 annual visitors, is one of Denmark's most visited museums and among the ten most visited tourist attractions. Louisiana is a collection of contemporary art, but also an interaction between art, architecture and landscape.
Louisiana got his name from court master Alexander Brun, who built a villa on the site in 1855. The villa's name is probably inspired by the three women he married - all three were named Louise. The founder of Louisiana chose to keep the name from the country house he subsequently transformed into a museum. The villa is now a part of the museum.
