A nice art exhibition poster with a night scene in Paris by Marc Chagall.
The artwork on the poster is called "Vue sur Notre-Dame" and was painted in 1980. If you look closer, you can see the Notre-Dame in the background.
Marc Zakharovich Chagall (1887-1985) was a Russian-French artist who is famous for mixing many artistic styles into colorful and sensual artworks. Or as Pablo Picasso said one day in 1950: "When Matisse dies, Chagall will be the only painter left who understands what colour really is".
The poster was made to promote an exhibition at The Galerie Maeght which is a gallery of modern art situated in both Paris and Barcelona.
