1982 World Cup (Football/Soccer) France - Austria - Original Vintage Poster

Here is a quite interesting World Cup poster featuring France and Austria.

The match was played on Estadio Vicente Calderón, Madrid the 28th June 1982 in front of 37.000 fans. France won the match by a goal by Genghini which meant that France went to meet West Germany in the next round.

The poster was made by the Spanish artist Donat Sauri who is also quite famous for his advertisements and bullfighting posters. You can actually see the bullfighting style in the lines of this poster. You can find Donat Sauri creations being sold at auctions houses all over the world.

This is a great historical poster which is an absolutely must-have for anyone who appreciates both football and vintage posters.
