The poster was made to promote the album "Oven Visse Vande" by Povl Dissing and Benny Andersen.
The poet and musician Benny Andersen had written the novel Svantes Viser, which in itself had a number of songs written by the author's fictional friend, Svante Svendsen. Andersen added music to the poems and he persuaded Povl Dissing to sing them on an album. The album became very popular, and Dissing and Andersen were in demand for concerts throughout the country.
