Probably the world's most famous mermaid - "The Little Mermaid" in Copenhagen, Denmark - is here portrayed on a very nice travel poster.

The poster displays the The Little Mermaid as a white silhouette with the background painted in Per Arnoldi's primary colors. In the bottom of the poster is written "Copenhagen" - suggesting that this poster might is a tourist poster for Denmark's capital.

Arnoldi is a self-taught, world-renowned modernist artist. He is particularly known for his posters and considered one of Denmark's most important poster artists. He is known for a tight and easily recognizable form and color language. As a painter, Per Arnoldi always uses primary colors (red/yellow/blue) on a bed of black - just like on this very poster.

Arnoldi is represented in a number of well known museums in the world including Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Museum of Modern Art in New York, Museum of Modern Art in Toyama and Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.

This poster is a great contribution to the modernist legacy that (without a doubt) will spice up any wall it is hanged on. This poster is very hard to come across so if you find yourself in the need of something quite unique - you came to the right place.
