1980s Soviet Army and Navy - Original Vintage Poster

The poster announces the "Soviet Army and Navy Day" celebrated on 23 February. Today the day is still a public holiday and is known as "Defender of the Fatherland Day".

Posters like these where sent out to every corner of the Soviet empire to remind the population of the heroic deeds, process and important political events.

A great cold war USSR-style artwork indeed with many nice details.
