1980 Tivoli Gardens by Ebbe Sadolin (Olive green) - Original Vintage Poster

An absolutely beautiful and slightly naive Tivoli Gardens displaying the whole park as it looked like in 1980s. 

Tivoli Gardens is located in Copenhagen, Denmark and is one of the oldest and most famous amusement parks in the world. The gardens try to stay true to the magic of the past and is try to differ from the conventional amusement parks by stating that they have nothing made out of plastic.

The poster was made by the Danish artist Ebbe Sadolin (1900-1982) who was a multiartist and illustrator but in 1927 Sadolin became fascinated with ceramics. He was hired by the Danish company Bing & Grøndahl and I really think that you can see his delicate hand-drawn lines on this poster. Almost as if Sadolin was painting a large ceramic or pottery.
