1980 George Underwood Cover Art - Original Vintage Poster

This is one of those posters one can stare at for hours and still come up with new ways of understanding the motif.

The artwork was created by the British artist and musician George Underwood. During the 1970s Underwood created covers and artwork for many famous artist including David Bowie. Underwood made the album cover artwork for Hunky Dory, Space Oddity, Ziggy Live and The Rise & Fall of Ziggy Stardust.

The artwork on this poster has been used in many different purposes for example the cover for Billy Cobham's "Culturemix - Colours" from 2005, covers for psychology books and more. However, only a part of the full image (as it is reveal on the poster) was used for the album and book cover.

This art poster is defiantly a colorful remix with many meanings which surely will light up and make people wonder.
