A rare Warhol favorite is now available again!
This is an original exhibition poster for an Andy Warhol show in 1978 at the prestigious museum of modern art Louisiana, Denmark.
The poster shows two of Andy Warhol's self-portraits in the famous pop art tradition of Warhol. The colors of the picture are red, aqua, yellow, blue and olive green with bright yellow and orange in different contrasts. The poster is unusual as it features a double self-portrait of the master himself. Normally only one or the famous posters with four portraits is featured on his exhibition posters.
Overall one this poster is, in my opinion, one of the best Warhol posters ever made.
Condition: Ver good condition - light handling signs, tiny pinholes in the corners, a little bit of the paper is missing in the upper left corner, light wear/tiny tears on the edges and a slight discoloring around the edges/motif (probably from previous framing). Most imperfections will be likely be difficult to spot when framed - please see pictures.
