What a poster by Wiinblad!
The poster shows a lady sitting and dreaming about a house, car, boat, traveling and having a cat. I think it is the first time I see Wiinblad drawing a car. Quite cool. The poster is divided in two by clever use of colors and light and shows reality vs. dreams. Of course a the bank is there to help you and the bank is called "Den Danske Provinsbank" (The Danish Provincial Bank). The bank emerged with two other banks in 1989 and the name was changed to "Den Danske Bank" (The Danish Bank).
I am really exited about having this poster back in stock as it is only the second time have seen this poster (and I have had +300 different Wiinblad posters trough my shop so far). The fact that the poster was made for a small means that there cannot be many copies of this beauty left and the poster must be considered to be hard to find.
This poster is among the favorite items by Wiinblad collectors. Quite a few Wiinblad fans has asked me to find and list this poster and I am happy that I finally found it.
As seen on the poster, the craft of Wiinblad is often colorful, lush and full of humor. He was inspired by the sumptuous oriental style far from the Nordic stylish line. This artwork is differently true to his special line.
The views on his works are to this day very divided, but interest in his finer things are unrelenting - especially abroad (particularly the U.S., Japan, Germany and Norway). Bjørn Wiinblad's contemporaries were not exactly inclined to acknowledge his way to work, so his position as an artist has been a bit special.
Globally, Bjørn Wiinblad is one of the very best selling Danish artists. He is represented at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The poster will be shipped wrapped in paper and rolled inside a tube.

Condition: Good condition/very good condition - light ceases/light handling signs on the edges, a little sticker in the lower right corner and some tiny pinholes in the corners. The majority of the imperfections is located on the edges of the white outline and the main picture is in very good condition - please see pictures.
