A very beautiful circus advertisement for Circus Benneweis with nice artwork of a jolly clown.
This poster also marks the 90 years anniversary of the circus making it one of the oldest circuses still operating in the world.
In the bottom of the poster is a saying in Danish; "Så hatten passer" which means to get something in abundance. This refers both to the circus' great shows but also to the hat of the clown which looks like.. an abundant hat!
This circus poster descents from the a Danish circus and is an advertisement for The Benneweis Circus - the largest circus in Scandinavia (which is also stated on the poster). The poster features art of a performing elephant, trapeze artists and a crowd in front of the circus tent.
This original poster is a great addition to every room that needs a happy and lively décor and a great addition for collectors of vintage circus posters or anyone associated with the circus.
