A beautiful exhibition poster displaying an ancient artwork.
The exhibition contain the sarcophagus and artifacts of pharaoh Akhenaten and his wife Nefertiti. Akhenaten was a very interesting ruler as he changed the belief in many gods (polytheism) to the belief in one god, (monotheism).
Louisiana (Danish Museum of Modern Art) is located in Humlebæk north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The museum was opened its doors in 1958 and with its approximately 600,000 annual visitors, is one of Denmark's most visited museums and among the ten most visited tourist attractions. Louisiana is a collection of contemporary art, but also an interaction between art, architecture and landscape.
Louisiana got his name from court master Alexander Brun, who built a villa on the site in 1855. The villa's name is probably inspired by the three women he married - all three were named Louise. The founder of Louisiana chose to keep the name from the country house he subsequently transformed into a museum. The villa is now a part of the museum.
