1975 Scandinavian Furniture Fair by Arnoldi - Original Vintage Poster

Very nice Scandinavian Furniture Fair lithograph featuring a striking modernist design in bold primary colors. Large fields of vivid yellow and red are contrasted by geometric blue and orange forms, creating a clean, minimalist composition inspired by Scandinavian design principles. 

Produced for the Scandinavian Furniture Fair at Bellacentret (now Bellacenter) in Copenhagen, Denmark, held May 7–11, 1975. A colorful and eye-catching piece of mid-century modern graphic design, ideal for collectors of Danish design, furniture history, and vintage exhibition posters.

Per Arnoldi is a self-taught, world-renowned modernist artist. He is particularly known for his posters and considered one of Denmark's most important poster artists. He is known for a tight and easily recognizable form and color language. As a painter, Per Arnoldi always uses primary colors (red/yellow/blue) on a bed of white - just like on this very poster.

Arnoldi is represented in a number of well known museums in the world including Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Museum of Modern Art in New York, Museum of Modern Art in Toyama and Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
