The poster was made to promote an exhibition with works by the French artist Claude Garache at Fondation Maeght in Saint Paul de Vence, France.
Claude Garache is a painter and his principal subject is the female nude. Like on this poster, much of Garache's work uses a single color on a monochrome background - very often blood-red on white.
