Edvard Munch (1863-1944) was a Norwegian painter greatly influenced German Expressionism. He is immortalized by the world famous painting called "The Scream".
Munch made the artwork on the poster in 1902 and the woman is believed to be one Tulla Larsen - an ex-fiancée. The relationship with Tulla is described to be quite dramatic which is probably seen if you look closer into Tulla's eyes.
