A very cool poster advertising the 11th Winter Olympics!
The poster depicts an alpine skier flying through the air with the official Olympic logo, the rising sun and a snowflake underneath.
The 1972 Winter Olympics held in Sapporo, Japan, marked a historic moment for both the country and the sporting world. It was the first time the Winter Olympics were hosted in Asia, showcasing Japan's emergence as a global leader in sports and technology.
Sapporo, the capital of Japan's northern island of Hokkaido, provided a stunning backdrop with its snowy landscapes and modern facilities. The Games featured 35 nations competing in 35 events across various winter sports disciplines, including skiing, skating, ice hockey, and bobsleigh.
