Nice portrait poster by the Danish artist Kurt Trampedach.
The poster was made to encourage people to visit an exhibition at Gallerie Jensen in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1972.
The motif is a bit gloomy and sinister which suits the play quite well. Such artwork also suits the artist of the artwork - Kurt Trampedach 1943 - 2013). The Danish painter and sculptor was very interested in portraits (often self-portraits) and had quite dark line which he adopted from his idol Rembrandt van Rijn. Painting was a way for him to work with his own psyche, with frequent bouts of depression and mania which is perhaps why his motifs looks like they do.
