A very decorative artwork by the Franch painter Maurice Denis (1870-1943).
The poster was made to promote an exhibition in Denmark featuring Maurice Denis' arts along with some art from his own personal collection.
The painting as seen on the poster called "L'Echelle dans le feuillage" (Ladder in foliage) was created in 1892 in the style of post-impressionism.
