1970 Danish Modern Art (Red) by Ole Schwalbe - Original Vintage Poster

A very stylish red/white Danish modern poster with art by Ole Schwalbe.

Ole Schwalbe (1929 1990) was a Danish painter, graphic artist and sculptor. He was one of the forefathers of Danish Constructivism which they called "concrete realism" which includes a total interaction between art and architecture - very visible in his decoration on buildings and constructions.

This poster was commissioned by a former Danish bank (Provinsbanken). The poster was probably as (very fashionable) advertisement for the bank - from a time where banks employed artist to promote themselves.
