A quite inspiring flower-power silkscreen poster. A poster true to its time!
The poster was made to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. who passed away the same the poster was made. Martin Luther King Jr. was an infamous activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s and 1960s.
This poster was probably made for placing in private homes back in the 1968.
The poster was printed as a silkscreen poster which is considered a fine and expensive printing method. The colors are added in fine layers which you can feel when touching the poster. Also, the colors are much more vibrant and will stay vibrant for a longer time than on average offset prints.
All in all a great vintage and special travel poster that will make a great addition to any wall and room it might be placed in.
