A very great piece of art deco inspired art by Alvarez Gomez - a Spanish artist who made several advertising posters for the Feria de Sevilla (Seville Fair) from late 1950s to late 1960s.

The poster displays a glimpse from traditional Spain with the beautiful dancing señorita and the masculine matador as the most important figures of the festival.

Feria de Cordoba is held in the Andalusian city of Cordoba (southern Spain) and is celebrated to mark the feast of Our Lady of la Salud - a health related saint. Locals will be dressed in "gypsy dress" from their local region and horse riders will parade though the streets.

Of course there is plenty of wine and tapas but the highlight is bullfighting in the local arena of Los Califas.

The fair is one of the most popular in the region and one of the best known of the numerous fairs held in Andalusia.
