The Danish poster artist Otto Nielsen made this calendar for the year 1958-59.
Nielsen's calendars was very popular all over world and some of artwork for the calendar was even printed as poster - some of them are available in my shop.
Each calendar represented a different theme and the theme for this calendar is famous portraits of different countries. Some of the motifs in this calendar is "Summer in Scandinavia" (Denmark), "Shopping in the bazaar" (Iran), "Evening on the Pampas" (Argentina) and "Geisha arranging flowers" (Japan).
The calendar contains 12 pages (one for each month) which each can be taken out and framed individually. Alternatively the calendar can be hung in it string on a wall and you can change the motif when you fell like it.
These calendar pages will do great in frames as a different kind of decor as these prints has never been reproduced.

Condition: Good condition. The front and the back side of the calendar has some scratches but the pages inside is in very fine condition - please see pictures.
