1958 French SNCF Safety Poster - Original Vintage Poster
Here is a poster that I do not often get across - a French railroad safety poster. The poster features a nice drawing of a hand that cuts itself on a sharp object which causes the hand to bleed.
The poster says "Ligne De Vie Prolongee... Si Plaie Vite et Bien Soignee" which can be translated to "Lifeline Prolonged... If the Wound is Quickly and Well Cared For". This poster has probably hung in the workers area at a SNCF train station to encourage workers to care properly for wounds.
