Very cool mid-century traffic safety poster encouraging people smile when giving signal in the traffic.
The text on the poster says (in Danish):
"Signal with a smile. The way to road safety".
This poster was commissioned by The Council for Greater Traffic Safety in Denmark in 1956 in a collaboration with many notable mid-century motor/gasoline brands.
The poster artist, Henry Thelander (1902–1986), was a Danish poster artist known for his elegant and stylish commercial posters, often featuring bold colors and clean compositions. His work, primarily from the mid-20th century, includes advertisements for Danish brands, tourism, and cultural events.
