A very powerful poster sending a hope for better future for mankind in the aftermath of WWII.

The poster displays a man running with a torch towards a glowing Paris signaling hope. In front of him is a crossroad (or a Christian cross) meaning - we can either choose to have peace and cooperate or another war in Europe is possible.

The French text says: "European Adventist Youth Congress - 1951".

Throughout the late 1940s and early 1950s many congresses where held in Europe to figure how avoid another war and make nations cooperate. These meetings was the beginning of the European Union and many other important European institutions and unions.

Overall, this is a great political/humanitarian poster which is an important reminder on the major peace affords made shortly after WWII.
