Incredibly beautiful detail-rich poster displaying the multiple purposes of oil.
The poster advertises oil from British Petrol (BP) and how it can be used on automobiles, ships and factories.
The poster was designed by infamous Otto Nielsen who also made a lot of other SAS commercials during 1946-78 and a part of the decoration of JFK airport in NY. The posters are often abstract motives with animals or famous buildings on display.
This is the first time I have seen this poster and I have seen quite many Otto Nielsen posters so I am quite confident that this poster is difficult to find.
