-----------------------------------

It is believed that this poster use to hang in Argentinean cinemas in order to raise funds for Red Cross. The organisation grew rapidly during WWII and in the 1950s there was still a lot of work to do around the world. The headliner in the top can be translated to: "A blanket of comfort around suffering humanity" and down below is: "They hold out their devoted arms and in times of peace they are fruitful and constructive. It is an authentic and comforting symbol of human brotherhood".

Overall this is a really great charity poster that is reminding you of the extraordinary job the Red Cross doing.

Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
