In Denmark there is a saying: People who points with a pipe is always right.
I do not know if the skipper on this picture is right or not but he sure seems quite satisfied with the rope on his fishing boat. This poster is a rope advertisement for "Randers Reb" - a former rope manufacturer located in Randers, Denmark which is trying to sell you all kinds of ropes and steel wires for ships.
Randers Reb - today Randers International a/s - was founded in 1840 and is based in northern Denmark and still produces steel wires for many different reason. Among the clients are the fishing industry, armed forces around the world and even playgrounds.
This is really the poster for the person you know with nautical trends or even for the upscale hipster. Anyway, I am sure this beauty will light up any wall it might be placed on and make people dreaming of the ocean and perhaps a nice fishing trip.
Please note: the poster has the original metal bars in the top and bottom with a string on the back which makes ready to hang without a frame.
