An absolutely horrific poster of a huge beetle lurking to loot the grain stores while the farmer is in the field.
The poster is a Danish campaign poster issued by the Danish government that warns against snout beetles getting into your grain. The headliner says it all: "Why pay tithing to the snout bill".
I love the way the artist enlarged the beetle and made the poster looks like something from a horror movie. But the fact that the beetles is hard to spot and yet ate about 2% of all grain in Denmark makes the danger of this little follow quite palpable.
Furthermore, in the bottom the poster urges farmers who spots the beetle to send some alive insects to a government lab - in a tiny box that fits a standard letter. If the farmer caught the right animal, then an pest official would be dispatched and guide you through the horror.
