A peaceful and joyful country setting on this poster.
The poster was probably made to promote George Gershwin's Song-Book.
Gershwin's Song-Book was first published in 1932 in the U.S. and since that many editions has been made.
I believe this poster could promote the Danish version of the book as there are some Danish writing on it.
The illustration on the poster was made by the Armenian-American painter and illustrator Constantin Alajálov (1900-1987).
