Beautiful exhibition poster by the Catalan artist Riera i Aragó!
The poster was designed to encourage people to visit an exhibition at Galeria Joan Prats in Barcelona, Spain.
Josep Maria Riera i Aragó is a painter and sculptor from Barcelona. Throughout his career he has dedicated himself to both sculpture and painting and to graphic work. He recreates in his work a world of machines and artifacts (zeppelins, airplanes and submarines). Apart from bronze he uses iron, materials with which he manages to make his planes or submarines float in a magical atmosphere. He has had individual and group exhibitions and is present in different Museum collections. In addition, he is an author of large sculptures for public spaces. This poster probably depicts one of his machines.
Galeria Joan Prats is an contemporary art gallery and first opened its doors in 1976. The gallery represents artist from all around the world including many local Catalan artist.
