Stylish vintage exhibition poster displaying Saint Catherine Desk & Chair by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen.
The chair (and desk) was designed in 1965 for the students at St Catherine's College - University of Oxford.
The poster was made to promote an exhibition the Danish Design magazine Bo Bedre in 1978.
The text on the poster (in Danish) describes how wild it was for Oxford University to select a foreign modernist to decorate the collage. It also tells the story of one of Jacobsen's less known designs and the Bo Bedre selected the chair to be one of the 25 best things for the home in 1978.
Arne Jacobsen (1902-71) was an infamous Danish designer and architect and well-known for the design of "the Swan" and "the Egg" which can be found all around the world today.
