Original exhibition poster from Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
Ivan Rabuzin was a renowned Croatian naïve artist known for his dreamlike, harmonious landscapes composed of stylized forms and soft, pastel colors. His 1968 artwork "Hiroshima's Flower" reflects his signature style while conveying a poignant message of peace and renewal in the aftermath of destruction. The piece uses Rabuzin's symbolic floral motifs to express hope and resilience, transforming the memory of tragedy into a vision of beauty and life.
The poster was made to promote the world famous museum Louisiana (Danish Museum of Modern Art) is located in Humlebæk north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The museum was opened its doors in 1958 and with its approximately 600,000 annual visitors, is one of Denmark's most visited museums and among the ten most visited tourist attractions. Louisiana is a collection of contemporary art, but also an interaction between art, architecture and landscape.
Louisiana got his name from courtmaster Alexander Brun, who built a villa on the site in 1855. The villa's name is probably inspired by the three women he married - all three were named Louise. The founder of Louisiana chose to keep the name from the country house he subsequently transformed into a museum. The villa is now a part of the museum.
Overall this is a stylish poster which surely will get a lot of attention when placed on your wall.
