1970s Gulf-Porsche 917 Race Poster - Original Vintage Poster

In the 1970s they sure knew how to make great looking race cars!

This poster features graphics of the infamous Porsche 917 and on the backside of the poster is technical details of the wonder car. The poster was made on collaboration between Porsche (car manufacturer) and Gulf - a defunct oil company.

The two companies made this poster in memorial of Swiss driver Jo 'Seppi' Siffert (the driver on the poster) who was killed in a crash fire in late 1971. His was killed World Championship Victory Race at Brands Hatch, England. More than 50.000 people appeared at his funeral.
