The dog was used in brief period as a mascot to promote the \"Hof Beer\" made by Carlsberg. However, the dog suddenly disappeared and I was not able to find any further information on the cute little beer dog.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOver the dog is a slogan which can be translated into \"Glorious with a Hof\". Hof is a Carlsberg Pilsner (lager beer) launched in 1904 and is also referred to by the nickname \"Hof\". When Carlsberg was appointed royal purveyor the brewery introduced a lager beer which was based on a previous product called \"Gl. Carlsberg Pilsner\". As with its predecessor, the label designed by Thorvald Bindesbøll who created a design that has remained largely unchanged until today. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe label showed the royal privilege and the beer was soon nicknamed Hof in public.
