1968 Eat Flowers (Psychedelic Peace + Love Poster) - Original Vintage Poster

A really nice love poster which reminds of us of settings ourselves free and not to be afraid.

The text "Eat flowers" possibly come from this quote by the American poet, painter, essayist, author, and playwright Edward Estlin "E. E." Cummings:

“since the thing perhaps is
to eat flowers and not to be afraid”

By looking a the year the poster was made along with the flower motif it is easy to associate the poster with the counterculture, civil rights movements, sexuality, women's rights, traditional modes of authority of the 1960s. I believe the poster seeks to encourage people to fight, demonstrate, doing experiments and find new ways of living.

Please note: the "golden" color of the poster has a fine glare and the colors are very vibrant and bright. The poster is much more beautiful in real life - guaranteed.
