A great poster from Scandinavian Airlines Systems displaying the Sud Aviation SE 210 Caravelle.
The very first airplane was delivered the 26 April 1959 to Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS). The Caravelle was the pride of the SAS fleet which is why this poster was made. The Caravelle made many propeller planes obsolete as they was faster, had a longer range and was more comfortable for the passengers.
282 Caravelle airplanes were built until the production ceased in 1972. However, the last commercial flight was in 2005 so this was a plane built to last!
