A nice abstract travel poster made by artist Otto Nielsen.
The poster displays the beautiful St Stephen's Cathedral - one of the many landmarks of Vienna.
The poster was a part of a calendar from 1957 and has been taken out so it can be used as a framed poster.
The artwork is designed by the Danish poster artist Otto Nielsen who also made a lot of other SAS commercials during 1946-78 and a part of the decoration of JFK airport in NY. The posters are often abstract motives with animals or famous buildings on display. Nielsen also made a SAS calendar every year which was highly popular and something which people pre-ordered in large quantities.
All in all a great vintage travel poster that will make a great addition to any wall and room it might be placed in.
