A great, detail-rich and a bit rare circus poster which almost looks like a cartoon.
The artist who did this poster focused on the clowns performing and playing music as they parade together along a horse-drawn carriage with even more clowns on it.
There is really a lot of things happening on this poster - the kind of artwork where you keep discovering new details!
The poster is an advertisement for the US-based Circus Hanneford (today known as "Royal Hanneford Circus") which has roots back in 1690. It meant to be the oldest circus in the world and as far as I have researched it seems like they are still in action.

Condition: Good condition - minor signs of handling and a few smaller tears on the edges. What seems to be marks on the poster is only misprints or ink stains made by the printer - please see pictures. A frame would most likely cover the imperfections.
