More info

A quite brilliant and cheerful flower poster designed by Bjørn Wiinblad.

I do not know why the poster was made - maybe poster would have a text advertising for something underneath the flowers? It looks like there has been some space left for text.

What I know is that I have seen many Wiinblad poster throughout the years but I have never seen this one before.

The craft of Wiinblad is often colorful, lush and full of humor. He was inspired by the sumptuous oriental style far from the Nordic minimalist line. This artwork is differently true to his special line - please pay close attention to all the little details in the background. Wiinblad is one of my personal favorites as he liked to party, travel and make art. He always looked cheerful and has a spark in his eyes as well as he insists on making happy and colorful motifs.

Globally, Bjørn Wiinblad is one of the best selling Danish artists. He is represented at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and in many other museums all over the world.

Notice: This mini poster feels and looks like a postcard but the backside is blank unlike traditional postcards.

Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
