A great 1930s travel poster promoting Germany as the "Das land der kunst" or "Land of Arts".
The poster displays a beautiful angel playing heavenly music using a string instrument. The motif for the poster is inspired by a wooden sculpture by Hans Bryggemann located in the Deutschen Museum, Berlin.
I think the museum has a different name today but my German is not that well so it has be a guess. I could not find the sculpture either.
Overall this is a great historical travel poster which is hard find - especially in this price level.
