A very decorative late art nouveau poster displaying "The Queen of Beaches".
The poster was made to attract people to dip their toes on the beaches of Trouville in Normandy (Northwestern France).
Besides beautiful beaches the little town of Trouville has a casino (Casino Trouville-sur-Mer) which is also seen in the background of the lady as well as the luxury hotel Cures Marines.
The poster was probably made to hand out to international tourists offices and then agencies could write prices and such on the blank part of the poster.
This poster is backed with linen which is one of the best ways to preserve old posters like this one.
Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
