As the train drove further through the woods the glade suddenly appeared before us..
This poster is an advertisement made for Danish State Railways (DSB) which could be a part of a collection of six posters. The poster is created by the Danish artist Bo Bonfils (1941) who also is well known for his drawings in Danish new papers and other well-known poster designs for Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Louisiana and of course DSB.
The poster displays a quite common scenery from the Danish landscape with its scattered forests and fields. But what is particular about this train advertisement (compared to contemporary train posters) is that the only thing connected to trains on this poster is its tracks and a sign. Instead Bonfils choose the view from the cockpit of the train operator - a view that is rarely accessible to the public.
