"To be or not to be.." - I guess we are all familiar with the play called "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare.
In the play Hamlet is a prince of Denmark and lives in the castle of Kronborg in Elsinore (Helsingør), Denmark. To commemorate the castle's role in the play the performance is set up every summer in the castle. This very poster is an advertisement for the play as a festival featuring Michael Redgrave as Hamlet himself. Redgrave was an awarded and knighted actor but also director, manager, and author.
A stunning mid-century lithographic poster with nice graphics, colors and details.
Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
