Great sketch art poster design depicting a bicycle from the golden age of cycle racing.
This bike belonged to "the champion of the masters" - the Italian cyclist Angelo Fausto Coppi (1919-1960).
Coppi is arguably one of the most successful and most popular cyclists of all time. He won the Tour de France twice (1949 and 1952) and the Giro d'Italia five times (1940, 1947, 1949, 1952 and 1953). But what made his victories impressive was the huge number of talented competitors at the time and that his career was put to hold for years when he was captured by British forces during WWII.
